Some compliances are mandatory when selling these optical transceivers in a particular country while some others are accepted globally. When purchasing a transceiver, check the compliance certifications required by your country and make sure your supplier can provide those certifications. Typically, a higher number of compliance certifications indicate that the product has undergone rigorous testing and meets all the criterions successfully.
